The 2013 edition of Aero India, which has consolidated its position as an unmissable event in the global aerospace calendar, will take place from 6 to 11 February. The event, which in previous years has included the participation of exhibitors from almost 30 countries and the collaboration of 675 companies, will be held at Air Force Station Yelahanka, near Bangalore, as a singular scenario to strengthen business opportunities in the international aviation industry and, more specifically, in the growing Asian market. The subjects it will cover include the conditions of the growing economy, the challenges inherent to organising defence and the opening of the defence market to the private sector, all of which are providing a major boost to India's defence industry.
