The 2013 edition of the CABSAT Coastal Surveillance and Maritime Security Fair will be held on the 12th, 13th and 14th of March. The main sea surveillance sectors from America and the European Union will participate in such a unique event.
The purpose of the event is to raise the awareness of the officials responsible for such activities in relation to the growing importance of maritime security in the Caribbean basin; address the joint maritime security of different nations operating in this area; deal with different matters to overcome logistics challenges and establish agreements; share lessons to identify the best practices, in relation to current and future actions; and generate a knowledge base on maritime security priorities in the Caribbean.
