We have sponsored (GOLD sponsorship) the first Airlines World Financial Symposium (WFS) organized by IATA in Abu Dhabi (UAE) the 13-18^th September, with more than 600 delegates and 100 airlines accredited attendees.

We have been actively participating in meetings and working groups for the future Revenue Accounting procedures and strategies, presenting our Revenue Accounting, BPO and systems integration services and products portfolio and meeting with current and potential clients like: Lan, Taag, Binter, Aeromexico, Avianca, Air Europa, Qantas, Flydubai, Iberia, British Airways, TAP…

Also, we had the chance to meet with Mr. José Eugenio Salarich Fernández-Valderrama, Spanish Ambassdor in Emirates, and present to him Indra Airlines products and services portfolio and other Indra current projects in Emirates managed from our two offices in the country: Dubai and Abu Dhabi

Key important news during the Symposium were: NDC and Revenue Accounting integration, and new Ethihad luxury class “The Residence”, small aircraft apartments for two passengers with bed, kitchen and bathroom.

Overall Symposium feedback by all attendees was very positive because of the contents discussed, networking opportunities, excellent setup and strong airlines presence.

Next year IATA will be a key sponsor and participant in 2^nd World Financial Symposium.
