In collaboration with Iberdrola, we innovate to facilitate the integration of renewable energy into the electricity system.

We design innovative solutions that facilitate the flexible management of distributed energy resources (DERs), in order to make more efficient use of the distribution grid and improve the economic and environmental sustainability of the electricity system.

The initiative is part of the European innovation project CoordiNet, which involves 23 partners from 7 different countries and aims to facilitate cooperation and remove barriers to active customer participation in the electricity market. Minsait will provide Onesait Utilities Prosumers, its platform for the smart management of DERs, as the technological basis for the pilots that Iberdrola will set up in Albacete, Murcia and Alicante, with a total of 850 MW of flexible power, most of which comes from renewable distributed generation (wind farms and mini-hydro plants).

Our solution enables active demand management, coordinating flexibility between consumption and generation points, and facilitating the generation of selective load modification patterns through the use of intelligent algorithms when the grid operator of a distribution company anticipates restrictions in any element.
