Born in Madrid on 31st July 1971.

Executive President of Indra Group since 2025. Co-founder in 1989, alongside his father and brother Javier, of Mecanizados Escribano, now known as EM&E Group, of which he served as President until 2025. Together with his brother Javier, he managed to transform a small machining workshop with manual lathes into a benchmark group in the Defence and Security sector, both nationally and internationally.

In 2011, they made a significant leap for the company through a vertical growth strategy that incorporated design engineering for the comprehensive development and manufacturing of complex Defence systems, achieving record figures in turnover and high-skilled employment in less than ten years.

Under his presidency, EM&E Group continued to experience constant growth, and maintains a high level of productive capability and cutting-edge technologies, driven by substantial investment in R&D. Furthermore, it is involved in the largest Defence and Security programmes in Spain and boasts a strong international presence and consolidation, with an export ratio exceeding 50% of its turnover.

Ángel Escribano has worked in nearly all operational areas of the company, completing his training across various departments, from CNC machine operation to commercial management, as well as roles in operations planning and quality management.

He has also been a member of the board of directors of the companies TESS DEFENCE and Sistemas de Misiles de España (SMS).
