Description of the Project
This project aims at maximizing synergies, standardization and interoperability of armoured vehicles to address highly demanding requirements while introducing innovation and promising new technologies and concepts, and reducing life cycle costs. The project will provide a roadmap for development of next generation European armoured platforms proposing the most feasible sub-systems and system architectures..

Tecnologies Employed
The FAMOUS programme aims to develop future technologies and performances that enhance ground combat capabilities in the areas of mobility, hybrid operation, power generation and energy storage, such as well as security systems, situational awareness, robotics, C4I solutions, weapon systems and modern life cycle support solutions.
