The Software Labs network is the Indra Technological development center, specializing in the development of software engineering products. The combination of near-shore and off-shore centers, the strategy of constant innovation and the I&D+I as well as the strong commitment with the highest standards of quality (CMMi L3 and CMMi L5) allows Indra to improve its efficiency and productivity in the development of software as well as to increase its competitiveness and differentiation as a company.
But all of the above would not be possible without an exacting and shared methodology, played out in processes and tools and a common culture for the entire network of centers. Indra strongly gears itself toward the industrialization of production to guarantee reliability, quality, and delivery times.

The strategic orientation of the Software Labs network toward innovation applies to the continued improvement of processes as much as the development of new solutions and services, and it is manifested in improvements, in quality, productivity, and competitiveness. This is possible thanks to the acknowledgement of emerging technologies and the permanent improvement efforts in employee training.
The Software Labs network includes an innovation management system implemented and certified based on the UNE-166002 standard.

For quality software, Indra has standard methodologies and procedures that support the different stages of the software life cycle and allow to adopt a working philosophy. All oriented to increase software quality and productivity in operations.

To control the quality of software Indra considers necessary to define parameters, indicators or metrics to aligned with the customer requirements.

Indra in order to obtain excellence in its operations, identifies qualitatively each level of criticality or impact to the organization, and  depends on this parameter sets the engineering team participation in the Quality operation.  Thereby, Indra always guarantees the quality control level more appropriate to the type and criticality of the operation, making its products have the right quality and contributing to customer satisfaction and the achievement of the desired results organization.
