This way, a new stage of the Company’s IT Services Management programmed is completed. The programme seeks to continually improve the services for over 30,000 professionals of the company distributed across the world.

The ISO/IEC 20.000 standard has become a world reference after five years since its publication. It sets the requisites for the implementation of a management system to provide IT services efficiently, guaranteeing its alignment with the business needs at a reasonable cost.
 
Indra’s IT Service Management has adopted ITIL good practices for many years in order to improve its services and chose the international standard not only to prove achievements but mainly to maintain, reinforce and enhance the quality of the services. For this reason, the company relied on Quint Wellington Redwood, a consulting company specialized in providing distinguishing solutions with broad experience in this type of projects.

The project considered compliance with the ISO/IEC 27001 to manage the security of the information already implemented in the company which turned out in a reduction of efforts and a more useful, comprehensive and less complex management.
