- Both companies will cooperate in the deployment of integrated solutions in strategic markets

Indra, the premier IT company in Spain and a leading IT multinational company in Europe, announced today a new partnership agreement with SAP AG (NYSE: SAP). As an SAP® global services partner, Indra will promote the implementation of Indra solutions integrated with SAP applications to customers in emerging markets across the globe. The agreement was signed by Indra’s executive vice president, Santiago Roura, and SAP’s CEO, Bill McDermott, at the SAPPHIRE® NOW conference, being held in Orlando, Florida.
Through this new partnership, Indra joins a select group of less than 30 global services providers with multinational SAP consulting capabilities that span multiple industries. Indra is the only Spanish firm to become an SAP global services partner.
“With this significant agreement, we can cooperate more closely with SAP, leveraging the strengths of both firms to conceive and carry out global strategies for customers in emerging markets around the world,” said Roura. “Implementation of integrated solutions from Indra and SAP can help customers transform their business processes.”
SAP services partners help SAP customers design, implement and integrate SAP solutions; optimize business processes; and provide strategic business consultation. As an SAP global services partner, Indra will take an active part in the support, customization and deployment of SAP solutions. Through this agreement, Indra and SAP will cooperate more closely to address the needs of strategic markets and industries.
SAP will benefit from Indra’s experience in the management of projects for emerging countries, as well as its active presence in Latin America, where Indra currently employs over 7,000 professionals and has offices in almost all countries in the region. The Spanish multinational will also provide support through its Software Lab network, where cutting-edge technologies and architectures are developed, and its advanced solutions for the energy, healthcare and transportation segments will also be integrated with SAP solutions. The Software Lab network comprises 20 specialized centers distributed all over the world.

New implementation model
To support its new role as an SAP global services partner, Indra is planning to roll out a new model to support solution implementation. This will be based on the outsourcing of 24x7 services from Indra’s Software Labs network, managed by Indra’s Centers of Expertise, maximizing the knowledge acquired in similar projects around the globe.
This agreement reaffirms the close relationship Indra has had with SAP since 1992, through which it has delivered important and highly innovative projects. Examples include the delivery of solutions for tax revenue management, healthcare, education, banking and supply systems. In addition, Indra is an SAP customer and is about to complete the modernization of its corporate systems with SAP solutions, helping to make Indra a “Best-Run Business”.
