Indra implements the integral technological management platform of the NH Hotel Group

Indra, the leading Spanish consulting and technology multinational and one of the top companies in Europe and Latin America has been awarded with a contract to design and implement the technological platform that will provide support to rationalise and improve the efficiency of the administrative and front-office processes of the NH Hotel Group with the implementation of the finance, sales, consolidation, management control, purchases, asset management, invoicing and HR modules of SAP ERP, as well as Indra's sector solution based on SAP (TMSforHotels and TMSforWeb). The project will start in Spain in January 2014 and the Roll-out will be extended to over 20 countries in Europe and America. Javier de Andrés, CEO of Indra and Manuel Brufau and Xavier Trías, Directors of Industry and Consumption were the signatories of the contract. Likewise, Federico González Tejera (CEO), Iñigo Capell (General Resources Manager) and Alu Rodríguez (Systems and Organisation Manager) were the signatories of the contract on behalf of NH Hotel Group.

Tourism Management Suite (TMSforHotels and TMSforWeb) is Indra's sector solution based on SAP that allows hotel chains to operate with an integrated approach, making use of all of its competitive advantages and optimising its business processes. TMSforHotels adapts SAP's ERP processes to the specific needs of hotel chains and expands its functions to cater for all operational needs of hotel chains in a single application, which enables the integrated management of the Back-Office (finance, management control, purchases, etc.) and Front-Office needs (PMS, Event Management, Reservation Central, SPA, Web, Booking engine, etc.) of the hotels and hotel chain.

Indra will provide the TMS (Travel Management Suite) technological solution to design new implementation and integration processes in SAP-TMS. In addition, the company will provide its experience in industry to achieve a short-term implementation, in order to guarantee that the objectives set forth are met and risks are minimised. NH will become the main reference of TMS; this will allow Indra to improve its international competitiveness.

The solution being implemented will manage the operations of approximately 380 hotels in the 26 countries where the hotel chain operates from a single centralised and global solution, which will provide coverage to the new commercial policies, resulting in increased sales and a more attractive offer for guests.

In addition, Indra will develop NH's new web site with the purpose of improving the business creation capacity of the hotel chain, with a new web platform that will be optimised to improve the experience of the hotel's guests and thus guarantee the maximum efficiency and autonomy of the site during its maintenance.
