- It will present its broad range of solutions, which include automated management, communications, navigation and air surveillance
- Indra will exhibit its new Controller Working Position CWP and its advances in the development of solutions compatible with SESAR requirements
- The multinational has deployed its ATM systems in over 4,000 installations and 160 countries
Indra will display its complete range of automated air traffic management solutions, communications, navigation and air surveillance (ATM-CNS) at the World ATM Congress 2015, the main trade event for the air traffic management sector to be held in Madrid from March 10-12.
Attendees will be able to discover the new Controller Working Position concept developed by the company, to be displayed at its stand (553). This console offers integrated and flexible access to all of the required data and functionalities for managing traffic, with a new interrelationship concept with the system and a different “look & feel”.
Indra will also exhibit its Cometa voice over IP (VCS-VoIP) land-to-land and land-to-air communications solution, as well as its voice communication control systems for the GAREX 220 and GAREX 300 control centers.
As regards surveillance, it will offer information on its continuous wave surface radar (SMR) and will exhibit a multilateration (MLAT) station for monitoring movements at airports and wide area multilateration (WAM) for maneuvering and en-route.
As to tower equipment, the company will take its InNOVA Surface Movement Guidance and Control System (A-SMGCS) to the World ATM Congress 2015, a solution that increases airport availability under any type of weather conditions.
Finally, the multinational will present some of the innovations it has achieved in the development of solutions adapted to SESAR requirements. Indra is one of the most influential companies in this initiative and a founding partner of the SESAR JU consortium, the technological pillar of the Single European Sky. In this area, the company already counts with specific solutions ready for industrialization and deployment, which it will exhibit at its stand.
In this regard, if during the previous edition of the World ATM Congress Indra revealed its interoperability concept (IOP), which represents a new way for managing flight-related information, in this edition it will focus on another key area of said flight information management: the integration of aeronautical data with other ATM systems using SWIM.
Last of all, Indra's German subsidiary, Indra Avitech, will offer information on its eWiz@rd, AviSuite and AxL product range, which facilitate the exchange of aeronautical data AIM and OLDI and SWIM.
