Project Description
The project SOA4AMI raises an open solution, supported in a service architecture supported by standards. New standards are being developed at this time from different alliances, standard organizations and reference projects, such as prime-alliance (http://www.prime-alliance.org/), Zigbee Smart Energy, openADR, Ogema, and so on. The aim is to develop a Gateway, supported on any open platform that enables integration of an Extensibility Framework.
Collaborating Companies or Organisations
Indra's Role
Indra's role in the project affects a main technological area of activity of interest to the company, as it covers areas of current activity, such as, ubiquitous computing systems, business processes related to the world of energy, the semantic web, data quality and accessibility and usability of Information.
Indra Systems helps develop the project with their knowledge in these areas through AMI services, definition of distributed real-time models and analysis of electricity demand in order to be able to make estimates and measures to improve the consumption or generation.
Universities and Technological Centres
Technologies used
As a key and central part of the solution is the service oriented architecture for the energy management. This architecture will be the heart, the core of the solution. Around that SOA paradigm will be developed the services that manage such architecture and will be those that give value to the solution, supported by a Framework Extension and a CEP system with distributed processing. SOAP, WSDL, SAWSDL, WS-Policy, WS-Addressing, WS-Security, REST, etc are others used technologies.
