Movilidad y Desarrollo México, A.C. (MDM), the first civil road safety organisation in Mexico, came up with the Rombo Amarillo awards in order to confer recognition to those concerned with traffic accident preventions. For this reason, they organise an event annually to officially acknowledge the work of government entities, including local and federal governments, private companies, civil associations, researchers and instructors.
Indra has received the Rombo Amarillo award in the Infrastructure category for having contributed the best initiative in 2009 and 2010.
