The “digital local government and citizenship 2.0” meeting will unite success cases regarding use of new technologies by local governments and will discuss the fact that citizens have become the main reason for the changes in this sector through use of social media. Emphasis will be made on sharing the good practices of those municipalities with a significant digital development and to urge those lagging behind to employ technology development as means of effective communication and social integration.
