The IATA World Passenger Symposium 2012 took place on 16 to 18 October 2012 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. With over 650 delegates from across the entire industry, this was a well-balanced platform for some engaging and productive discussions on all aspects of the air passenger Value Chain.
The opening session started with a welcome address by HH Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan. Then James Hogan, CEO Etihad, gave an insightful overview of Etihad's success story and Tony Tyler, DG IATA, explained IATA's New Distribution Capability project.
