Santiago de Chile will host the FIDAE (International Air and Space Fair) from March 25 to 30, the leading biannual international space and defense trade show in Latin America. It will bring together professionals, enthusiasts and authorities from various national and international areas. In 2012, over 500 exhibitors from 40 countries attended the event. In addition, more than 300 professional delegations and 200 national and international authorities were present.
Our participation will be related to the ATM sector, where we will showcase the ADS-B ground station, a system that combines the benefits of ADS-B automatic dependent surveillance with the best performance-cost ratio available on the market. The system meets and/or exceeds current requirements and recommendations developed by FAA/RTCA, OACI, EUROCONTROL and EUROCAE for ADS-B systems as part of an air traffic control system, and can be adapted easily to address the future increase in air traffic requirements.
Indra will participate with a stand in the Spanish Pavilion organized by TEDAE. Indra is a world benchmark in air traffic management systems. Indra is present in practically all Latin American countries. It is currently executing major contracts in Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Cocesna and its associated members and the Bahamas, among others.
