What is a Smart City like? Are we facing the new city paradigm? Will it be more sustainable and efficient than current cities? What role will citizens play in it? These will be some of the questions asked during the eleventh edition of the Festibity communication technologies event, which will be held on 25 April in Barcelona and centre on smart cities.
As in previous years the event will include the awarding of the Festibity Mentions: FiB, Honourable, Fiber Entrepreneur, Best ICT Initiative, and Innovation. This year the prize for the 2013 FIB Applications competition will also be awarded.
