Project description
Currently, Loss of Control in Flight (abbreviated as LOC-I) has become the main source of aircraft accidents.
Several international institutions related to aviation and flight safety have reached a consensus on the way of reducing the incidence of LOC-I: to modify the training currently received by pilots. This modification must provide the capability for the pilots to acquire and retain the skills needed to avoid a LOC-I condition and also to recover aircraft control in case such a condition occurs.
This project will develop the capability for training the prevention and recovery from LOC-I in a Flight Simulator of the A320 NEO aircraft.
