We utilise all of our capabilities and experience in the design and implementation of mission critical hardware and software systems at the disposal of the railway sector (infrastructure administrators, operators of public and private trains, train manufacturers, etc.) through a family of open stand-alone technology solutions aimed at interoperability, integrable with any infrastructure and highly scalable.
The solutions cover everything from Level 1 and 2 ERTMS signalling and control on board the train (EVC system), ERTMS Level 2 signalling on the ground (RBC system) with centralised management and operation systems (PCE system), national ATP systems for signalling in both the infrastructure and on board the train, to systems for the secure integration and processing of infrastructure information detectors, including their integration with a control centre.
Through the use of a single generic and open technology platform for the redundant and secure processing of information, mainly based on the integration of COTS, of an architecture that is scalable and adaptable to any operational requirement, Indra has developed a full set of railway safety solutions that are totally open, stand-alone and highly configurable and can therefore be used and adapted to any existing railway infrastructure through simple adaptations to the interface configuration and application data, which assures the client at all times of the non-existence of proprietary technology or solutions, the technological development of the solution and, therefore, protection of the investment made.
Thanks to the use of the highest regulatory standards, Indra's solutions are approved and certified as railway security systems (SIL levels of integrity, depending on the application) in accordance with the EN50126, EN50128 and EN50129 standards.
