Project Description
The main objective of this project is to develop a 5G performance compliance testing assurance solution that calculates KPI (Key Performance Indicators) to show the real behavior of 5G network and services. The technological challenge is to develop the technology to assure the 5G service quality based on data processing. For this purpose, a series of innovation activities are proposed to establish a reference architecture for supervising 5G networks by means of monitoring devices that allow measuring 5G performance indicators in order to evaluate the real performance of 5G networks.

Indra's Role
Indra's activity in this project is to investigate the technology that allows monitoring the performance of 5G networks from an end-to-end point of view. In this way, Indra will design the architecture of the 5G network monitoring platform, identify the main performance indicators in 5G, specify the functionalities for the evaluation of 5G network services, project the monitoring devices for this new 5G technology and also will coordinate the European consortium Eureka Celtic Plus and the Spanish consortium.

This project, with file number EXP - 00111630 / INNO-20181007 (INNOGLOBAL program), has been funded by the Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial E.P.E. under the program “Programa Estatal de Liderazgo Empresarial” en I+D+I, within the “Plan Estatal de Investigación Científica y Técnica y de Innovación 2017-2020”.
