Project Description
The main concept of the project is to focus on making digital environments be totally user oriented so that user interactions are done in a Digital Personality format. Users must update their Digital Personalities, which will be able to automatically interact with the devices that exist in any digital environment at any location.
The Digital Personality concept, as proposed by this project, refers to the capacity to digitally capture personality traits of people. In terms of personality traits, we refer to those related to people´s physical appearance as well as their psychological condition.
The objective is to configure user preferences in terms of a hierarchical categorisation of their digital personality, which will be defined in the project and the services to be offered, as well as the areas on which to act upon. The user information received by the sensors will be sent to the digital personality stored so that it may be processed while taking into consideration those preferences in order to generate appropriate information as well as to allow providers to offer services adapted to each user. The digital personality will be the single identifier for each person, and it will contain information about their preferences, tastes, the sensors that the user allows to obtain information about him or her, and the areas where these preferences may be applied.

Technologies used
The most important technologies developed for the project are:
- Digital personality methodology: methodology based on ontologies that will specify how to create the context-based digital personality and how to use it for providing added value to the mobile service provider and to end users.
- Framework for creating the DP, maintenance and decision making.
- The framework will enable the natural integration between the hardware, applications and the DP.
- Framework extension for service providers: this extension will enable mobile service providers to take advantage of the benefits of the CBDP project results and to offer customers services based on the context.
- Middleware context-aware: specifications that allow to provide personalised services to users by using the contextual information gathered.
- Test applications in home and vehicle domains: these applications will validate concepts developed in the project, provide "real life" information about the framework´s operation and display the project benefits to a large audience.
