Description of the Project
To generate new technological knowledge that lays the foundations for the smart digital transformation of waste sorting plants, with the aim of significantly increasing the efficiency and productivity of the processes, as well as boosting future R&D projects that will enable the entire waste management sector to address the demanding challenges it will face in the coming decades. The proposed research will be based on new technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Deep Learning, Advanced Robotics, Big Data and Machine Vision, among others.
