Description of the project
Project whose objective will be to achieve the CDR (Critical Design Review) of the future European anti-drone system which, in addition to focusing on the specification of the operational concept, specification of system requirements and definition of the overall architecture, will devote efforts to the development of anti-drone technologies from both the sensor and countermeasure sides, considering different levels of maturity, concluding with a partial demonstration phase, including different technology demonstrators in representative scenarios (currently under discussion at consortium level).
Industrial partners
Indra's rol
The project will focus much of its efforts on the definition of the operational concept (led by Indra), requirements specification and architecture (led by Leonardo and Thales). In addition, it will have several lines of action focused on new sensing and countermeasure technologies covering TRLs 3-7, with a final phase of partial demonstrations.
Universities and Technology Centers
Technologies employed
As an anti-drone system, it concentrates different sensing technologies (radar, RF sensors, infrared cameras, etc.) as well as countermeasures (jamming, directed energy, hunting drone, etc.). As a whole, the proposal will also address aspects from a design perspective such as data fusion, interoperability, interfaces with other systems, etc.
