Indra acquires colombian company, “Consultoría Organizacional” to strengthen its sap offering in the country

Indra, a leading global technology and consultancy company, acquired the Colombian company Consultoría Organizacional, a company focused on strengthening organisations’ value chain through the implementation of technological and innovative solutions that enhance their growth and improve their positioning within the company.
“The aim of the acquisition is to strengthen the capabilities of Indra’s business management systems applied to the SAP platform, in which the knowledge and references of the company, Consultoría Organizacional converge. This, together with the portfolio, the customers, the experiences developed in other countries and the opportunity to define Indra’s new export models”, stated Fernando Ayala, General Director of Indra Colombia.  

“This operation allows us to develop our product portfolio with high value propositions by reinforcing the capabilities of the business management system through technological and innovative solutions applied to the SAP platform that will transform all productive sectors of the Colombian company,” Ayala added.
With this acquisition, Indra will reinforce its offer of products and services on business management systems, supply management, Human Resources solutions, EPM (Enterprise Performance Management), vertical solutions for universities and education, CRM and analytics, among others, through technological solutions applied to the SAP platform which will transform all of the Colombian company’s public and private sectors.

The transaction, which is part of the company’s strategic growth plan, confirms Indra’s vocation in Colombia to contribute to the development and digitalisation of the country through its technology and innovation.

The acquisition will allow Indra to significantly accelerate the pace of growth in all of the Colombian company’s productive sectors in both the public and private sectors. Similarly, through Indra’s union with Consultoría Organizacional, its SAP offer and its global references with the company’s local capacity will generate a significant growth path for the following reasons:

    The increase of potential business throughout Consultoría Organizacional’s current installed database.
    Reaching new customers thanks to the presentation of a differential offer from Indra with local capabilities and references.
    A strengthening of Indra’s alliance with SAP in Colombia, which will accelerate its customers’ implementation and migration processes to S/4 HANA and the adoption of Cloud solutions in the digitalisation process of the Colombian business network.

Thanks to the purchase of Consultoría Organizacional, whose areas of specialisation include the sales of products and services on the SAP platform, cloud services, BPO payroll and consultancy, support, innovation and development. Indra adds a team of more than 150 highly qualified and experienced professionals to its staff and a wide range of customers in Bogotá and Medellín. 
Colombia is the third most important market for SAP in the region, following Brazil and Mexico, so the acquisition of Consultoría Organizacional, as a reference company in SAP business at a national level and as a Gold Partner, strengthens Indra’s offer at all the levels that its customers need when it comes to transforming their organisation.
