  • The IT company will undertake the editing, printing and distribution of the business correspondence at its CAI facilities in the country.
  •  Indra’s position is reinforced as the first company to deliver this type of services in Mexico and as one of the leading companies in Latin America.

Indra, the premier IT company in Spain and a leading multinational in Europe and Latin America was awarded a contract of BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) services by Banamex, Mexico’s second most important bank. The contract includes the editing and finishing services for over 37 million Euros and a 7-year execution period.

The services consist of editing, printing, classification and posting of the business correspondence. It will also digitalise the documents to be downloaded from the bank’s website for clients. Over 750 million images and around 250 million envelopes are expected to be processed by the technology multinational.

The project will be carried out at Indra’s CAI centres in Mexico as the facilities have the largest printing capacity across the country.

The agreement consolidates Indra’s leadership in the sector of printing and finishing in Mexico with a 60% of market share which makes the company the technology partner of the country’s second most important bank. Banamex has 1,700 branches, 6,800 ATMs and over 4,000 correspondent banks all over the country.

The company is strongly present in the sector in the rest of Latin America with nearly twenty important clients in the banking and energy sectors of the main countries. It also manages the entire processing and securitization of assets for Ing Direct, Bankinter, Bancaja and Santander.
