  • Both companies signed an agreement today which includes the integration and commercialisation of high added value applications.
  • The final aim is to develop a new business model with cutting edge management technology for small and medium sized companies.

T Indra- the premier IT company in Spain and a leading IT multinational in Europe- and Sage- a world leading company in business management for small and medium-sized companies-will cooperate in the development, integration and commercialisation of cutting-edge solutions to improve productivity and efficiency of the production processes of this type of company. The agreement was signed today by Sage’s CEO Santiago Solanas and Indra’s Director of Industry and Consumption, Manel Brufau.

The alliance includes the integration of technological solutions or applications either developed or commercialised by Indra into the ERP applications or platforms which are commercialised by Sage as well as the joint developments required. Specific agreements will be established for the commercialisation and distribution of the new solutions by Sage.

The final aim of the alliance is to provide the small and medium-sized company with high added value technological solutions which so far, were only oriented to large-sized companies.

As the first initiative in this segment we should mention the integration of iScan and iCB (Bank Communications) digitalisation solutions hosted on Indra’s advanced digital services platform; Sage Murano ERP, a business management software which includes advanced features for CRM, project or document management or business intelligence, among others. The agreement could be extended to the rest of Sage solutions.

iScan consists of a digitalisation, classification and automatic data extraction service which can be used to automate accountability applicable to invoices and bills, among other documents. On the other hand iCB is a bank communications system based on the Editran protocol which facilitates automated communication between the companies and their banks.

Santiago Solanas, Sage’s CEO in Spain pointed out: “the agreement is very significant for small and medium-sized companies as they will have access to innovative technology which so far was only available for large-sized businesses.”

Manel Brufau, Indra’s Director ofIndustry and Consumption, stated that: “This agreement was conceived to meet the need of a new business model more in line with the current situation for small and medium-sized companies to improve their competitiveness at a reasonable price using cutting-edge technology born of innovation.”
