Indra will attend the new edition of the World ATM Congress, which will take place in Madrid from the 4th to the 6th of March, ready to unveil the latest advances in air traffic management systems and the most advanced air navigation, communication and surveillance solutions.
The company will exhibit its advanced surface movement management system (A-SMGS) as well as Nova, its automated tower management system, and its surface movement radar (SMR), which offers optimal performance thanks to its continuous wave technology.
In the field of air navigation aids, Indra will bring to this edition of the World ATM Congress its GBAS augmentation system, which forms part of Indra's family of NORMAC products (ILS, DVOR, DME and GBAS)
Indra's German subsidiary Avitech will exhibit in the company's stand its renowned range of eWiz@rd, AviSuite and AxL products. These solutions are assisting the integration of AIM y OLDI and SWIM aeronautical data exchange systems. They are supporting the transition of numerous navigation service providers to the new model of functional blocks in which the Single European Sky is organised.
In terms of its contribution to SESAR, the ATM R&D programme backed by the European Commission, Indra will participate in the demonstration that the consortium of the SESAR programme will give regarding the progress made in the i4D project, in which the new technologies that will make 4D trajectory flights a reality (3 dimensions + time) are being validated. In this regard, there will be a sample of three specific aspects related to this concept in rooms N109 and N110: en route, approach and landing operations.
