Fences may be fitted with sensors, both on the fence itself (fiber-optic cable tensor cable) and externally (pressure tubing or long range PIR) with the option of perimeter CCTV for additional support. Maximum perimeter protection is achieved if dual fencing is used and there is a control zone (depending on the importance of the installation a higher or lower level will be reached). The system may have sensor tubing and long-range PIR systems with CCTV support.
The device mounted on top of the fence detects attempts to jump on to the tracks, offering greater security by:
- Emitting an alarm whenever anyone attempts to jump over/break through the fence.
- Detecting the impact of objects or dislodged rocks falling against the fence.
The configuration can be performed during the installation or in subsequent phases.
Thanks to an elaborate mechanism with a specially designed profile, there will be no false alarms caused by events other than an actual jump. The system does not require adjustments or calibrations. It is a maintenance-free system with a false alarm rate of 0%.
