Project Description
The main target of Project Goal is the development of technologies that allow the use of playability mechanics in software engineering, more concretely in software development lifecycle, or ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), tools.
These technologies are focused on allowing the biggest exploitation of the gamification advantages that can be provided to the software engineering process, and making it possible through an integral point of view, instead of gamificating isolated functionalities.
In this way, some aspects can be potentiated, like requirement estimation, good practices acquirement, team knowledge interchange, testing, support, project management, etc. through the improvement of the tools learning curve, motivation and professional compromising, innovation, collaboration and social participation, etc.
In conclusion, increase the productivity and improve the quality of the products and developed services.
Collaborating Companies or Organisations
Indra's Role
- Application of multi-device techniques to the ALM process gamification.
- Development of advanced artificial intelligence techniques applied to gamification (profiling techniques, emotional states detection and analysis, customization and creation of flexible natural language dialogue interfaces).
- Development of gamification techniques applied to different ALM phases (project management, requirement specification, software-testing management).
- Creation of a framework that automates gamification in work environments.
- Development of tools that allow extracting metrics and relevant indicators of the gamificated ALM tools uses.
